Jakob Glatz is the owner of Conservas Pinhais, a traditional sardine canning factory in Portugal. Working in the premium food industry for over 20 years and leading his European group of companies in the food sector, he has specialized in developing global brands and engaging consumers with storytelling at its core.

With the opening of The Pinhais Factory Tour to visitors in 2021, a ten-year-long dream of him has come true. Ever since it has been recognized as one of Portugal’s best tourist attractions, it has also received several international film awards for its outstanding and touching opening movie.
